Privacy Policy

When you use ATS Optimizer, we collect:

• Account information — your name and email address, provided via Clerk authentication (Google or email sign-up).
• Resume content — the text extracted from resumes you upload. We store this to run ATS analysis and generate improved resumes.
• Job descriptions — the text you paste for each analysis. Stored alongside your analysis results.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store Stripe customer and session IDs to track purchases.
• Usage data — page views and feature usage via PostHog analytics to understand how the product is used.

• Run ATS keyword matching and scoring against job descriptions.
• Generate AI-improved resumes and cover letters using the Anthropic API (Claude).
• Process payments via Stripe.
• Send transactional emails (welcome, team invites) via Resend.
• Improve the product based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

We share data with the following services, each under their own privacy policies:

• Anthropic — resume text and job descriptions are sent to Claude for analysis and generation. Anthropic does not train on API inputs.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Clerk — authentication and user management.
• Vercel — hosting and file storage (resume PDFs stored in Vercel Blob).
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

Your analyses, resumes, and cover letters are kept until you delete your account. We do not sell your data. If you want your data deleted, email us and we will remove all your records within 30 days.

We use essential cookies for authentication (Clerk) and optional analytics cookies (PostHog). No advertising cookies are used.
